Following materials are present in the Enclosed Gardens of Malines and incorporated in AGATO:
This list of these materials outlined the boundaries of the overall project. More recent or modern materials, like synthetic materials or modern alloys are therefore not included (in AGATO) at this point so their specific risks and recommendations are not (yet) available.
AGATO can be used to make a risk assessment for objects consisting of a single material and for mixed-media objects with a combination of the different materials mentioned above. It provides both information for single materials in relation to the 10 Agents of Deterioration and on interactions between different materials.
